Does Monchilla actually support everything involved in payroll? All of the employee and employer side tax calculations?

Yes. Everything related to payroll is completely handled by Monchilla. There is no need for a 3rd party or additional payroll service when you use Monchilla.

Does Monchilla guess what my future income and expenses will be based on some proprietary patented nonsense that is really just guessing based on past data?

No, We would never recommend using the past as the basis for decision making in your business and there is no magic formula that makes that a good idea. Instead, Monchilla makes it very easy for you to tell us what income and expenses your anticipating and we use that as the basis for all future projections.

Won't I need to spend hours feeding Monchilla lots of data before it can help me make smarter decisions?

No, because many income and expenses are recurring you will actually spend less time feeding your books AND get more insight into your business.

Does Monchilla do billing?

Yes, you can bill customers via e-mail right from Monchilla or you can print out invoices and mail them. You can also track billable time from various employees with various bill rates and that billable time to an invoice with just a couple of clicks.

Can I export all of my data if I ever decide to leave Monchilla.com?

Absolutely. Your data belongs to you. You can easily export all of your transactions because our strategy to keep you as a customer is to remain the best small business bookkeeping software available - not to make you feel trapped.

How can I be sure my data is secure?

All of your data is stored in our secure data center with around the clock armed guards and advanced access controls including biometric authentication. Our support personell don't even have access to your data unless you share it with them first.

Can someone steal money from my bank account if they get access to my Monchilla account?

No, Monchilla can only download past bank transactions.

How can I move my Quickbooks data to Monchilla?

You can easily import your QuickBooks data into Monchilla. This makes moving to Monchilla really easy (no need to wait until the end of the calendar year) and it also gives you all of your data in one place. And all of your open invoices, customers, and suppliers will also be ready for you to use without any tedious data entry.

What is a Monchilla Payments account?

Monchilla Payments is a separate service with a separate username and password that allows you to electronically pay employees and suppliers. However, every payment requires you to use a single use password that is sent to your mobile phone, so even if someone got your password to Monchilla Payments they would still need your cell phone. This is a higher level of security than is provided by most banks.

Can I use Monchilla Payments without a cell phone?

No. It is important that we have your authorization through an SMS message sent to your cell phone as an added layer of security when using Monchilla Payments.
